    Briefing

    A meeting or document providing all staff and vendors with the key event details, roles, and instructions before the event.


    Briefings can take multiple forms: a written document emailed in advance, a group meeting on-site at the start of the event day, or individual role-specific conversations. The briefing document typically includes the run sheet, floor plan, emergency procedures, key contacts, and any special instructions. The pre-event briefing meeting is an opportunity to answer questions and ensure every team member is confident in their responsibilities.
