The period after the event ends when all equipment, furniture, and décor are dismantled and removed from the venue.
Bump-out (also called load-out or strike) begins as soon as the event concludes and guests have left. Vendors retrieve their equipment, staging is dismantled, furniture is removed, and the venue is returned to its original condition. Venue contracts specify how much time is allocated for bump-out, and additional charges apply if crews run over time. Coordinating bump-out efficiently is important for keeping final costs under control.
