    Lanyard

A cord worn around the neck that holds an ID badge or access pass, widely used at conferences and events.

Lanyards are a practical and visible way to display name badges and access credentials at events. Colour coding — using different lanyard colours for different attendee types (speakers, VIPs, staff, general attendees) — is a common way to manage access control and facilitate quick visual identification. Printed lanyards with the event name or sponsor branding are a low-cost sponsorship item.
