Tables arranged in a U-formation with chairs on the outside, allowing a presenter at the front to engage all attendees.
U-shape works well for workshops, training sessions, and presentations where interaction between attendees and the facilitator is important. All participants have a clear view of the presenter and each other. The open end of the U faces the screen or flipchart, and the presenter can walk into the space to engage directly with attendees. Typically suits groups of 12–30 people.
