    Usher

    A member of event staff who guides guests to their seats or designated areas and assists with access management.


    Ushers are positioned at venue entrances and throughout the event space to direct guests efficiently. At theatre-style events, they check tickets and escort guests to the correct rows. At gala dinners, they assist guests in locating their tables. Ushers are often the first staff a guest interacts with and play a significant role in first impressions. Their briefing should cover the floor plan, seating chart, emergency exits, and access control protocols.
