An external company or individual contracted to provide products or services for an event.
Vendors are the suppliers who deliver every service that an event organiser does not provide themselves — AV companies, caterers, florists, photographers, security firms, entertainment acts, and transport companies are all vendors. Managing multiple vendors simultaneously is one of the core challenges of event management. Each vendor needs a brief, a signed contract, a confirmed call time, and a point of contact on the day.
